Shoreham Boat House

This series documents a converted D-day landing craft in Shoreham-on-Sea. The boat was once filled with children, playing and exploring. On return, the boat has become eerily quiet with only the gentle rhythm of wind chimes and ropes breaking the silence. Only the beach was filled with noise and movement, and even that felt deserted. The town can be seen across the mudflats, a reminder that the boat is a haven from normative life. It stands as a monument to what seems to be fast becoming a lost era.
